I’ve been trying to avoid food pictures, but some days are just crappy and cooking can be a fun distraction. If I cooked it, it’s pretty much like practicing an art, right? Lolz.
I made this scrappy rendition of chicken 65 with a few materials on hand. Cubed boneless skinless thighs, tahini, red chill flakes, salt, black pepper, and Tapatìo hot sauce. I let it marinate for a bit, then tossed in a little flour and gave it a final mix. Fry it in inch-deep oil. Garish with sesame seeds and more red chili flakes. It turned out surprisingly well!

Day 22 – 100 Happy Days
I’ve been sticking around work pretty late to avoid traffic. Some days I go to the gym, some days I just kick it and read or catch up on personal things. Today I sat outside in the back patio area and listened to Terri Lyne Carrington’s “The Mosaic Project: Love and Soul“. I sat there for two hours. Thinking, wondering, dreaming. It just felt right.
