I woke up early enough to brew this morning. I tried this iced chemex method where the coffee drips over ice in the bottom of the chemex. Doesn’t quite have the body of a cold brew, but it sure beats standard iced coffee. Feels great to start the day this way.

The NBA Playoffs is my favorite time of the year. Awesome games on every night, and something big always happens. Happy that my Indiana Pacers made it to the playoffs this year, though it’s gonna be tough as the 7th seed haha. Ball is life, leggo Pacers.

Day 2 – 100 Happy Days
Cooking on weeknights can be tough. It’s so tempting to make something super basic like an omelette or even grab some takeout. Cooking rejuvenates my soul – a delicious mixture of art and science. Even though I usually finish cooking and start eating around 9:30pm, it is definitely worth it. Spaghetti and meatballs is one of my all-time favorites. San Marzano tomatoes, meatballs from scratch, topped with Reggiano. #100happydays

Day 1 – 100 Happy Days
I’m trying to do the 100 Happy Days Challenge. I’ll post a photo once a day about something that makes me happy. Let’s see how this goes!
1) I work in a suburban corporate office, so I often miss the hustle and bustle of city life. But suburbia isn’t all that bad! My office has this cool walking trail that goes around the grounds and into the woods for a bit. I walk along this path during lunch break to get away. #100happydays
